Bringing the exciting sport of Archery Tag to Canterbury
LOCATION
Archery Combat Sports is currently a fully mobile service* - providing you the opportunity to play Archery Tag at a park or school in your neighbourhood. Normally all we need is an area around the size of a Netball court and enough space around to avoid interfering with other users of the area.
If the weather is unfavourable or you don't have a suitable "home" venue, we're based in Rangiora where we have access to some indoor and outdoor venues in the area. We'll work with you to choose the best game arena for your group, which might be an indoor sports courts, outdoor artificial turfs or local park. (Note: venue selection will be based on weather, group size and venue availability.)
*Depending on location an additional charge may apply for our mobile service to cover travel costs
Booking well in advance of your event can help us to arrange the best venue to suit your group's requirements.
PRICING
Standard 60 minute session...
8-12 players: $240
Additional players: $15 each
60 minutes session includes 10-15 minute introduction/practice & 40-45 minutes game time.
Minimum group size of 8. Minimum age of 10 years

We can cater for groups up to 48 participants and longer sessions under a number of different scenarios. Just tell us how many people you have and how long you want to play for and we'll provide you with a custom price.

ABOUT
Archery Tag® is a fast-paced sport that combines the ancient skill of archery with the head-to-head combat excitement of Dodgeball/Paintball/Laser Tag to create a dynamic group event everyone will enjoy.
Two teams battle it out armed only with bows and soft, foam-tipped arrows. Your aim is to take out opponents and targets in order to gain points or be the last person standing. It's dynamic and great fun, plus you'll leave with no bruising or marks - it's totally safe!
Archery Tag can be played indoors or out and there are a number of different game play options to suit every group size. We generally cater for ages 10 years and older, though some younger children are quite capable and we may be able to accommodate them.
It's also important to understand Archery Tag is not just for kids - it's also a heap of fun for adult groups. The beauty of the game is it "adjusts" to the age and ability of the players, making it a perfect event for everyone!
When you make your booking the team at Archery Combat Sports will work with you to put together an event your group will not soon forget.
GROUPS
At Archery Combat Sports we specialise in group events such as school camps & activity days, corporate events, university fun days etc. We may also be able to help at your Stag Do or birthday party. We've got some fantastic locations in North Canterbury or may be able to come to your place.

SESSION TIMES
We don't have any set operating hours as such but as we have a pretty accommodating day job we can normally work with your preferred times if we have plenty of notice. Fridays and weekends are preferred.
Unfortunately we do not run regular "open" sessions at this time but we are hoping to do so during the school holidays. Watch this space.
